The launch of the reprint of C.D. Milligans Siege of Derry, scheduled for Wednesday 6th September has been postponed.  We will announce a new date when we receive confirmation.

The Siege Museums 'Siege Walls' Walking Tours are approaching their conclusion for 2017, with only two weeks remaining!

Dressing up, having fun and making a racket!  The Siege Museum summer scheme commenced on Monday 31st July and will run for one week.

The Loyal Orders have launched a joint promotion to showcase the cultural heritage and history of the Orange Order and the Apprentice Boys to a wider audience.

The Siege Museum is launching a new, unique weekly walking tour which reveals the story of the Siege of Londonderry.  Bring your family, friends or group along to travel through time with our expert guide as you walk the walls and meet the people who faced the horror of starvation, disease and the bombardment of the city back in 1688-89.

On Saturday 10th June, The Siege Museum's new outreach vehicle was in Carrickfergus at the annual Landing of King William Pageant where it attracted a lot of attention. It was parked in a prime location in front of the Castle Walls overlooking the harbour and parade route.

The Siege Museum and Lumen Christi College in Londonderry recently embarked on an exciting partnership project looking for archaeological evidence of the Great Siege of 1689.

The project involved digging an exploratory trench in the school grounds and was generously funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.  Some students even had the unique opportunity to work alongside staff from the Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork, Queen’s University looking for historic artefacts.

On Saturday 28th January 2017, the Siege Museum were represented at The Holiday World Show held in Dublin RDS Simmonscourt.

Archaeologists from the Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork, Queen’s University, Belfast, recently spent a week at Lumen Christi College, Londonderry, performing a geophysical survey on behalf of the Siege Museum.
